Saskatchewan SPCA Stryker K-9 Care Fund Launch

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the June 7th (2015) official launch of the Saskatchewan SPCA Stryker K-9 Care Fund. The fund is one of the first of its kind in Canada, providing assistance with the cost of veterinary care for retired police dogs. The Saskatchewan SPCA has committed $10,000 for the first year of operation of the fund.

Canine units from the RCMP and the Saskatoon and Prince Albert police services were on hand to entertain the crowds with demonstrations of their amazing skills.

Our thanks to everyone at Saskatoon Police Service for hosting the event with an extra special thank you to Sgt. Lorne Ingram for all this hard work. #gallery-1 { margin: auto; } #gallery-1 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-1 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-1 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
